Facets of Unity III — 2022

Light and wood in quiet conversation. Facets of Unity III brings together recycled New Zealand kauri, poplar, and copper into a circular wall work that glows from within — each facet catching and holding the LED light in its own way, the whole greater than the sum of its parts.

The materials carry history: kauri felled and reclaimed, poplar grown and repurposed, copper aged and shaped. Together they form a composition that is both geometric and organic, structured and warm. At 680mm across, it commands a wall without overwhelming it.
